You know that:
- Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych was founded by the Polish government in 1951 with the help of Fiat.
- The Polish government initially offered a million tons of coal for the license, but eventually paid Fiat 130 million zlotys for technical documentation and another 250 million for pressing molds and tools in 1948.
- The 125p version of the car was in production from 1983 and did not end until 1991.
- In Egypt, where these cars were also produced, the FSO cars were very popular, and the last piece did not roll off the production line until the end of 2002.

Polish TV show "Automobilista" about FSO 125p:
"The FSO in the KOMBI version is a modern and affordable car for everyone. The car is built for tough conditions with high reliability in mind." It must be noted that this programme was under strict political scrutiny. In fact, the FSO car was practically unavailable to the Polish public, either because of its price or simply because not enough of them were produced. The big problem was corrosion. Customers often took delivery of new cars with advanced chassis corrosion, and so often the lucky owner's first drive led straight to the garage. However, the Automobilisti programme was unable to mention these facts.
