German heavy platform wagon SSYS 50T COBI 6284 - Historical Collection 1:35

You know that:

• German freight wagons of the SSYS 50T type were manufactured by Schalker in Cologne from the 1930s.
• The designer of the cars was the well-known industrialist Friedrich Krupp.
• At the time of its creation, the wagon had a modern axle design for a more suitable distribution of the weight of the load, which is still used today.
• The number of units produced was huge, but the exact numbers are not known. 
• Developed for military purposes, the wagon was deployed on all rail lines of the Reichsbahn, but also in occupied territories to supply troops.
• The SSYS 50T cars are also one of the symbols of the reconstruction of post-war Germany. The endlessly long trains consisting of these cars hauled away the rubble from the major German cities.
• Many wagons were improvised and converted for civilian use and passenger transport. Some wagons with wooden superstructures even served as temporary housing.
