The RAM 3500 belongs to the American heavy-duty pickup segment. The model line originated with the separation of the RAM brand from Dodge in 2009, but its history dates back to 1981 when the first Dodge RAM pickup was introduced. RAM typically supplies the cab with chassis, and specialized companies then install various dump or utility bodies. This is why the RAM can be seen in many configurations such as dump trucks, tow trucks, service vehicles, fire and rescue specials, or municipal vehicles.

The RAM 3500 6.4 HEMI V8 produced between 2018–2024 is the fourth generation of RAM vehicles. At first glance it stands out thanks to its large grille, narrow headlights, and massive front bumper. The frame is made of high-strength steel and compared to the previous generation is lighter and allows easier mounting of dump and working bodies. The hydraulic dump bed has a steel structure and a rear opening tailgate. Payload is typically 3–3.5 tons. Many dump versions use four rear wheels instead of two, increasing durability, improving stability when transporting very heavy loads, and making driving easier on rough terrain.
