• The cause of the accidents was the MCAS stabilisation system, whose software could literally send the aircraft crashing to the ground under certain circumstances.
• After 638 days of forced grounding and corrections to the control program, the 737s were able to take off again.
• The aircraft structure consists of 80% modern composite materials. Many of these parts are also manufactured in the Czech Republic.
• Boeing has so far produced more than 400 units in various versions.
• The price for the aircraft, depending on the version and equipment, is in the range of USD 121 000 000.
