The Fw 190 model features a rotating three-blade propeller, retractable landing gear legs with aerodynamic covers, and adjustable control surfaces. Two pairs of SC 50 bombs are mounted under the wings, and an SC250 bomb is mounted under the fuselage. The kit features a new cockpit canopy that perfectly matches the real aircraft. The canopy can be removed to comfortably seat the figure of the German fighter ace Walter Nowotny. Two headgears for the figure are included in the package: a Luftwaffe officer's cap "Schirmmütze" and an LKpW101 flight helmet. A perfect detail is the sophisticated print on the fuselage, wing, and rudder parts, simulating combat paint wear. The assembled model can stand on its own landing gear or on a display stand with a nameplate included in the set.

The aircraft factory was founded in 1924 by Henri Focke and George Wulf in Bremen, Germany. When G. Wulf and H. Focke hired an extraordinarily talented Polish-born designer, Kurt Tank, in 1931, they made probably the best decision of their lives. It was this designer who led the development of Germany's most successful aircraft, creating the Fw 190.

The first flight took place on June 1, 1939. After its first deployment in 1941 over Gravelines, France, it became clear that it was an exceptionally high-performance machine with great maneuverability, excellent visibility, and heavy armor. However, the aircraft had one drawback caused by its BMW 801 engine, which lost power at altitudes above 6,000 meters. This was resolved with the introduction of a new Daimler-Benz engine. Czechoslovak pilots serving in the RAF also engaged in combat with the Fw 190. After a dogfight with František Trejtnar in June 1942, the Fw 190 pilot was forced to land in England, providing the British with an airworthy specimen.

The Fw 190 A-4 version featured many unique traits. For the first time on German aircraft, the FuG 25 IFF identification system was used, and the engine received a methanol injection system for short-term power boosts. Many aircraft were equipped with additional WGr 21 unguided rocket launchers.

Focke-Wulf manufactured the aircraft in two German and two Polish factories, using forced labor from slave laborers. A total of more than 20,000 aircraft were produced across 8 different variants. After the end of World War II, a large number of manufactured parts remained in the factories and were transported to France. An additional 65 aircraft were assembled at SNCAC factories. The last Fw 190 was retired from the French Air Force on June 22, 1949.
